ABOUT

About me

I am a Melbourne based botanical artist specialising in Australian native and exotic plants. I paint mainly in watercolour. My career spans over 30 years in art, illustration, graphic design and video production. I have botanical artwork represented in private collections both in Australia and internationally.

In 2006, my ‘Banksia integrifolia’ (pictured above) was one of eight selected for the Illustrated Garden Collection, or florilegium, of significant plants growing in the Royal Botanic Gardens in Melbourne. I exhibit paintings in the Art of Botanical Illustration Exhibition, Kawarra Native Garden Art and Wildlife Exhibition, Camberwell Rotary Art Show, Birregurra Art Festival and the “Nature in Art” exhibition
at Park Orchards Learning Centre.

I am fortunate to have a career in the creative world. Being trained in graphic design, filmmaking
and photography gives me the creative outlet I need to pursue projects related to my art. I enjoy
teaching botanical and natural history art in and around Melbourne and
conducting specialist workshops in regional Victoria and interstate.
